WWTP Jičín – KUBÍČEK screw blower units

Based on our experience with wastewater treatment plant facilities, we proposed for Jičín the use of modern SD series screw blowers, made by us.

This is an innovative solution combining the best of ROOTs blowers and Screw compressors.

We replaced the original KUBÍČEK ROOTs blowers type 3D55C-200K (75 kW motor) from 2008 with new, highly efficient SD60B-200K screw blowers with a 55 kW motor.

The original electrical installation, including frequency converters, was fully retained, so there were no additional costs associated with the transition to modern equipment.

Together with the optimization of the operation of the blowers and the aeration system, energy savings of 20-30% compared to the original solution are already evident!
