Containerized WWTPs for Dugald River and Centurion mines (Australia)

1. WWTP for Dugald River Mine

For this container wastewater treatment plant, we supplied a total of 4 pcs of KUBÍČEK blower units of type 3D38B-100E and 3D28B-080E in stainless steel acoustic covers for outdoor installation in demanding conditions.

The new wastewater treatment plant serves the Dugald River mine, located approximately 65 km northwest of Cloncurry in northwest Queensland, Australia. It is one of the largest and highest quality underground zinc mines in the world, owned and operated by MMG Limited.

2. WWTP for Centurion Mine

For this containerized wastewater treatment plant, we supplied 2 pcs of KUBÍČEK blower units type 3D28B-080E in stainless steel acoustic covers for outdoor installation in demanding conditions.

Centurion Mine (formerly known as North Goonyella) is a major underground metallurgical coal mine in the Bowen Basin in central Queensland (approximately 40 km north of Moranbah). It is owned and operated by Peabody Energy.

Both WWTPs use advanced Elementz technology built in 40-foot shipping containers that include a pre-anoxic, anoxic zone, aeration, a lamella settling tank and an AFM filter, followed by a sodium hypochlorite disinfection system.
