Šumperk HORAL: Supporting the community and mountaineering tradition

We are proud to introduce one of our long-standing partners, the Šumperk Mountain Club HORAL. This non-profit organization is dedicated to bringing together climbers and mountain sports enthusiasts in the Šumperk region, actively building upon the rich traditions of the Czech mountaineering movement.

The club focuses on a wide range of activities, including:

Organizing sporting events and educational courses for both members and the general public.

Maintenance and management of rock climbing areas, ensuring safe and sustainable sporting conditions in our region.

Hosting community events that strengthen local social bonds.

Some of our own employees are active members of HORAL. In their free time, they care for the local landscape and represent our region on climbing expeditions both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Supporting this club is a natural step for us to contribute to the development of local talent and the protection of our natural environment.

The Horokros Race: A Tradition in Challenging Terrain

One of the most prestigious events organized by the HORAL club is the Horokros running race. This demanding forest cross-country race has a tradition spanning over thirty years and is a cornerstone of the regional running calendar.

Known for its technical difficulty and significant elevation gain, Horokros tests the endurance and character of every participant, perfectly embodying the spirit of the local sports community.
