WWTP Mozirje (Slovenia)

Another successful project handed over to a satisfied customer.

In the second half of 2024, we were approached by our long-standing partner, the Slovenian technology company ESOTECH, to prepare a bid for the Mozirje WWTP intensification project.

Mozirje is a small town on the Savinja River in northern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria.

The project for the intensification of the original WWTP consisted of a complete replacement of the air sources, aeration system, interconnecting pipes and the implementation of MBBR technology.

KUBÍČEK supplied new efficient blowers type 3D55C-200K (55 kW) and 2x 3D38C-100K (18.5 kW)

We also provided the design, manufacture and assembly of the aeration system for the two tanks, consisting of a total of 160 fixed diffusers of type ATE65D fitted with a fine bubble EPDM membrane, each 3.8 m long.

The final precise assembly of the aeration system KUBÍČEK was carried out by our representative, company STROJARSTVO ČIČEK.

The piping system and the MBBR technology were provided by ESOTECH.

The capacity of the wastewater treatment plant was increased to a final maximum of 10 000 EO.

The treatment plant is being gradually put into operation these days.
The plant operates without complications, water oxygenation is achieved without problems and according to the required values.

The operator of the WWTP is very satisfied with the installed equipment.

The project has thus joined the ranks of dozens of other implemented WWTPs on the Slovenian market where KUBÍČEK blowers are in operation.
