WWTP Hrádkov (CZ) – KUBÍČEK SCREW blowers
At the Hrádkov Wastewater Treatment Plant, operated by the Boskovice division of Vodárenská akciová společnost, a.s. (VAS), we have successfully completed a full replacement of the blower systems. We have replaced the two original, ageing 3D38C-100K units, dating from 2011, with modern, energy-efficient SD series screw blowers fitted with soundproof enclosures for indoor installation.
The new SD38-125K units are fitted with high-efficiency IE4 motors and mounted on our newly developed SOLID series chassis in DN125 size. This innovative solution uniquely combines the best features of traditional Roots blowers and highly efficient screw compressors. Our project also included the supply and installation of connecting pipework.
A major advantage for the operator was that all the original electrical installations were retained in full.
The customer therefore did not have to make any further investments or carry out complex modifications to the wastewater treatment plant’s control system.
As a result, the entire modernisation process went smoothly, quickly and at minimal cost.
